Crack Growth Diagnostic of Ball Bearing Using Vibration Analysis

Abstract It is known that supported ball bearings have great effects on the vibrations of gear transmission system, above in all presence local faults as well crack growths. For this purpose, paper focuses shock and vibration growth diagnostic bearing using analysis. Our work devoted first to a study static behaviour by determining stress, strain displacement, then its dynamic four natural frequencies. Secondly, analysis was carried with defects function size location. The obtained results clearly show frequencies decrease non-linear way length crack, other hand stress increases singular points crack. Finally, residual can be used an indicator state failure, parameter for diagnosis screening, highlight fatigue life
